Private Classes to Improve Your Self Defense Skills
We offer a series of classes designed to improve your self-defense skills. Each class is designed to teach a specific set of skills at a specific level of proficiency. We can combine or modify classes to meet your training needs. The cost of a class is $30 to $50 for one person based on the class content and length.
While these classes are designed to be taught one-on-one, you may add a friend or spouse for an additional $20 per class.
We limit the class size to 2 people to ensure you get the attention you need.

Personal and Home Defense Planning
Refusing to be a victim is a mindset. The knowledge and skills needed are common sense. However, common isn’t always common.Â
In this class, we will explore methods and practices you can use to develop and improve your mindset.Â
We feel that an informed and trained public is essential. Because of this, we offer this class at no charge.Â
If you are a church, veteran, community, or senior organization, contact us to arrange a time and place for a presentation.
We also do classes for individuals. Contact us so that we can arrange a presentation.

Legal Use of Force
In this session, we will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home.
Within this session, you’ll test what you’ve learned using several real-world scenarios with you as the actor.

Defensive Shooting Basics - Stance and Sight Alignment
There is more to defensive shooting than pointing your firearm at the threat.
 The session is taught through lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and student practices. The final exercise allows the student to bring the skill they have learned into practice through a series of dry fire and Mantis Laser Academy drills.

Defensive Shooting Basics - Selecting a Firearm
Are you planning on getting your Florida CWFL, but have you selected your everyday carry firearm? This course will give you a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms that will allow you to make an informed decision.
This course aims to de-mystify what sometimes feels like a topic reserved for experts. We provide easy-to-understand explanations of the standard terms used so frequently.
Course content:
The universal safety rules.
Clearing handguns.
Understanding a handgun’s action.
Understanding revolvers. Understanding semi-automatics.
Which handgun is right for you?
Handgun ammunition.
Malfunctions.
The course concludes with a trip to the range where you can shoot typical Revolvers, Single action Auto, Double action Auto, and Modern Stricker Fire auto.
You can also shoot .22 cal, .38 special, .380 cal, 9mm, and .45 cal. rounds

Semi-automatic Pistols as Self Defense Tool
This session builds on the skills learned in three previous sessions. Based on the student’s experience, the instructor may waive one or more of these sessions.
Session 2a reinforces and refines shooting skills related to the semi-automatic pistol. The session is 2 to 3 hours in length depending on the experience of the student. The session is taught through hands-on demonstrations and student practices. The final exercises allow the student to bring the skill they have learned into practice through a series of dry fire, Mantis Laser Academy, and Mantix drills.

Revolvers for Self Defense
This session builds on the skills learned in three previous sessions. Based on the student’s experience, the instructor may waive one or more of these sessions.
This session reinforces and refines shooting skills related to the revolver pistol. The session is 1 to 2 hours in length depending on the experience of the student. The session is taught through hands-on demonstrations and student practices. The final exercises allow the student to bring the skill they have learned into practice through a series of dry fire, Mantis Laser Academy, and Mantix drills.
Live-fire Semi-automatic Pistol Drills
This session builds on the skills learned in the Semi-automatic Pistols as Self Defense Tool session. Based on the student’s experience, the instructor may waive those sessions.
This session reinforces and refines shooting skills related to semi-automatic pistol marksmanship through live-fire drills using a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol. The session is 1 to 2 hours in length depending on the experience of the student. The student will master marksmanship skills at 5, 10, and 15 yards shooting at various sized targets. Firearm access and ammo are included in the price of the course.
Live-fire Revolver Drills
This session builds on the skills learned in the Revolvers for Self-Defense session. Based on the student’s experience, the instructor may waive those sessions.
Session 3b reinforces and refines shooting skills related to revolver marksmanship through live-fire drills using a .22 caliber pistol. The session is 1 to 2 hours in length depending on the experience of the student. The student will master marksmanship skills at 5, 10, and 15 yards shooting at various sized targets. Firearm access and ammo are included in the price of the course.
Session 4a - Live-fire Semi-automatic Pistol Drills
This session builds on the skills developed in Session 3a. Based on the student’s experience, the instructor may waive those sessions.
It focuses on the effect of recoil and noise on pistol shooting through range instruction and live-fire drills using the student semi-automatic pistol. The session is 1 to 2 hours in length depending on the experience of the student. The student will master marksmanship skills at 5, 10, and 15 yards shooting at various sized targets. The student is expected to provide their own firearm and ammo.
Session 4b - Live-fire Revolver Drills
This session builds on the skills developed in Session 3b. Based on the student’s experience, the instructor may waive those sessions.
